Clean & care

We want to make sure that your new eyewear remains in good condition for as long as possible, and there are a few things we recommend you do:
Clean your glasses using a microfibre cloth, lens cleaner designed for glasses or optical wipes.
When not wearing your glasses, make sure to place them with the lenses facing upwards or preferably store them in the hard case.
Always use both hands to put them on and take them off.
Avoid leaving them in places of extreme warmth, such as near a heater, or in a hot car, as this can warp your lenses, or cause any special coatings to peel off.
Avoid cleaning your eyewear with clothing, tissues, paper products, soaps or hand sanitisers as they break down the lens coatings.
Never wear your glasses on top of your head, this can force the frames to expand, and the arms can warp and change shape.

Fitting & Adjustments

You deserve the perfect fit. Everyone is different, so it is only natural that your frames may need some adjustment when you receive them.
If your glasses are sliding down your nose:

Wireframe glasses

With your thumbs, gently push the nose pads inwards and bring them closer together until they fit snugly against either side of your nose.

Plastic glasses

Run the temple tips under hot water to slightly loosen the material.

Gently bend the tip inwards for a tighter fit behind the ear.

If your glasses are digging into your nose:

Wireframe glasses

With your thumbs, gently push the nose pads outwards until they feel comfortable on your nose.

Plastic glasses

Run the temple tips under hot water to slightly loosen the material.

Gently bend the tip upwards for a looser fit behind the ear.

If one of the lenses sits higher than the other:

When the left lens is higher than the right lens, bend the right temple arm down.

When the right lens is higher than the left lens, bend the left temple arm down.

If the tips above don't work for you, or if you are simply afraid to try adjusting your glasses at home, Don't Worry, we've got your back!

We offer Free In-Store Adjustment for our valued customers. You can take your frames to any optical shop to have them adjusted for you. If they charge you for the adjustment service, email us a copy of the receipt, and we'll reimburse you up to RM65.

Conditions:

  • Applications should be submitted within 30 days after the arrival of the item.
  • Additionally, kindly remember that this policy only covers frame-fitting adjustments, not any modifications (e.g. installing new lenses is not covered).

Adapting to your progressive lenses

If it's your first time wearing progressive lenses or if you are having difficulties adjusting to a new pair, remember the following tips:
  • The eye and the brain have to learn to adjust to the different refractive powers of the lenses, so progressive lenses may take longer than other types of lenses to get used to.
  • When trying to look at something, remember to move your head, not your eyes, and point your nose towards the object.
  • It is normal to experience some slight distortion towards the edges of your lenses.
  • Gradually increase the wear time of your new glasses over the first few days, for example, half-day wearing. Try to avoid going between your old and new glasses as your eyes need time to get used to the new ones.
